Tight binding, I have noticed one page corner fold. Page aging as to be expected. Clean pages,no writing. Illustrated throughout with several contributed by Enid Blyton herself.

Illustrated by John Kaufmann. This one has a lot going for it beyond just being a first edition Knopf. The cover design is a genuinely striking piece of early 1960s graphic design, exactly the kind of atomic-age, space-race-era science aesthetic that mid-century modern collectors and book cover enthusiasts go after.
