(The reason I have to open the shrink-wrap is that they come wrapped in bundles of 4 or 5 copies. But it is a completely pristine copy until I do.) By the author of the science fiction classic PAVANE. I have seen the original British hardcover (Millington) of this selling for $500.00. When the book was out of print and virtually impossible to find in any form, a friend of mine spent ten years trying to find the Ace paperback and was finally offered one for $100.00. I once sold the paperback for $50.00. This is a runaway bargain. The original price on the jacket is $20.25. ILLUSTRATED BY STEPHEN FABIAN.
